Mr. Lemkecher's career began with an impressive 18-year tenure with National Oil Companies (NOCs) and governmental bodies, laying a robust foundation for his later ventures into the private sector. In this realm, he has collaborated with leading engineering firms and International Oil Companies (IOCs), orchestrating successful joint venture negotiations. His role in these collaborations was pivotal, involving the coordination and negotiation of oil and gas joint ventures and gas sales agreements. His expertise also shines in his contributions to financial and commercial analysis as part of business development teams, where he has been instrumental in developing gas market assessments and forecasting models.
A milestone in his career was the establishment of Tunisia’s first energy and environment engineering company in 1992, where he served as CEO. This endeavor was in collaboration with the Dutch Consulting firm DHV. Notably, Mr. Lemkecher also possesses specialized knowledge in the development of economic and industrial Free Zones, exemplified by his foundational role and leadership as the first CEO of the Zarzis Free Zone in 1989.
